In partnership with the Kent Family History Society, findmypast.co.uk has recently added almost 600,000 Kent parish records spanning the years 1538 to 2006.

This invaluable collection includes, 498,176 baptisms, 10,121 banns, 172,371 marriages and 354,749 burials.

A good portion of the burial records will be from the Civil War, and this indexing project between the Veterans’ Administration and Ancestry.com will provide invaluable documentation for those researching their genealogy and family trees.
