Don Cherry looking ‘cheery’ in pink.
I don’t go out of my way to watch Don Cherry. I find him loud, rude, overbearing and opinionated. He tends to steamroll over everyone he talks to. One thing I have noticed though is his very real and apparent empathy and affinity with our military personnel. I’ve often wondered why he’s so easily touched by stories about our military personnel.
As the daughter and wife of an ex-military member, I admire him for taking the time to acknowledge the events, accomplishments and tragedies related to our military overseas.
Tonight I will have my answer on the premiere episode of the Canadian edition of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’.
This episode examines Don Cherry’s own military ancestry and I for one will be watching. I have no doubt Mark will be as well as these are the single type of shows we both like.
